The name “VPP” completely undersells the value proposition. You’re not just aggregating tiny resources to “virtually” create a power plant. Distributed generation isn’t just generation. It’s generation, and transmission, and distribution. T&D is 40% of the cost of electricity.

We care about Bezos compromising the journalistic integrity and independence of the paper to protect his other businesses from reprisal by Trump. It corrupts WaPo. It reveals Bezos's lack of integrity. And it's a form of pre-emptive surrender to fascism.
Why do people care so much who (if anyone) the Washington Post endorses? Are there people out there like, “I was going to vote for Harris, but then the Washington Post didn’t explicitly endorse her, so I’m voting for Trump.”

I remember making this graphic back in 2018, tracking the UK's coal-free days for the first time.. Now from 1-October, when the UK's last coal power plant is closed, every day forever more will be coal-free and green💪
