This is new... December 2024 shows a big pick up in solar panels in many African countries. 20-80MW per month is not small for these countries. I wonder why? China aggressively seeking new markets?

The name āVPPā completely undersells the value proposition. Youāre not just aggregating tiny resources to āvirtuallyā create a power plant. Distributed generation isnāt just generation. Itās generation, and transmission, and distribution. T&D is 40% of the cost of electricity.

We care about Bezos compromising the journalistic integrity and independence of the paper to protect his other businesses from reprisal by Trump. It corrupts WaPo. It reveals Bezos's lack of integrity. And it's a form of pre-emptive surrender to fascism.
