Today I turned in my petition signatures to qualify for the November ballot for RTD District A. This was an all-volunteer effort and I’m deeply grateful to Kate Williams, @jamesflattum, @RlyJohnConnor and @MikeFromCo for giving a helping hand & the SoS for a smooth process.

This is a big reason why it’s important for Coloradans to continue to support an independent elected RTD Board of Directors. Appointees will always be beholden to the people who appointed them.
Philly City Councilmembers helping to kill SEPTA's bus network redesign efforts is just the latest example of the indifference local officials in the city have towards quality of transit service in the region. That has directly undermined political support for transit subsidies.
