Today marks the 25th Anniversary of light rail in Denver today! We'll be out at I-25 & Broadway and 30th & Downing stations where it all started to celebrate with our riders. We hope to see you there!
As a reminder, quiet zones go into effect along the University of Colorado A Line tomorrow at 3:15 a.m. within the City and County of Denver! Commuter rail and freight trains will no longer routinely sound their horns when approaching crossings within Denver at that time.

We're excited to announce another milestone on the operation of the University of Colorado A Line! Quiet zones will be established in the Denver section starting March 1st. RTD's trains, as well as freight trains, will not routinely use their horns at crossings.

RTD is offering this service during the COVID-19 state of emergency to provide current Access-a-Ride customers with a food delivery option that does not require leaving home. No fare is required for customers to use this service.
Battery-powered e-bikes and e-scooters are now permitted on the bike racks on the front of RTD buses, or onboard light rail and commuter rail trains, subject to restrictions. Read the policy and more
RTD, as critical infrastructure, will continue to operate as scheduled for essential travel such as trips for groceries, to get necessary healthcare, or to reach an essential job. Don't take unnecessary trips and, as often as possible, keep 6 feet between yourself and others.
We'd like to thank our mechanic, Bela Boros, for suggesting that the upholstery shop make face masks. Thanks to Bela's initiative, the team has now made 150 masks and counting!

Service on the N Line begins on Monday, September 21 at 12pm! Please plan for extra time, as limited number of passengers will be allowed on each train car due to COVID-19 restrictions. We want everyone to have a safe and comfortable first ride on the N Line!
