Storm, like Xavier and Magneto, has an air of gravitas about her. It's why Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen were perfect castings for these two. Whoever is cast as Storm needs to be dark skin, AND be able to convince us that she could destroy the earth if she wanted to.
Storm Reid wants to play, fittingly, Storm in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This. Some of my favorite facts from these: WandaVision episode 1 had a real live studio audience like the tv shows of that era. Simu Liu did nearly all of his own stunts in Shang Chi. There is a level of craftsmanship in these projects that a lot of folks don't give credit for.
Once again begging people to watch the Marvel Studios “Assembled” series. Really gives great insight into how the MCU projects are made.
