Prolific publication of entirely false data should be a publishing industry scandal, but it is so routine I have the impression that people are simply bored by it. Anyway, if you have some time to read the blog post, I think it will be informative.

Some of these papers are cited in authoritative safety reviews. For example, a European Food Safety Authority scientific opinion on Titanium Dioxide credibly cites three of these papers with fabricated images.

Springer Nature and others have published dozens of papers by Saudi and Egyptian researchers with entirely fabricated comet assay images. I think the blog should be informative and I will put a link in the first comment:

I should say that the PubPeer link explains the problem: "Unexpected overlapping areas between images that should show different experimental conditions. I've added the coloured rectangles to show where I mean."

Another case of Photoshop in cancer research. The manipulations here are quite extensive, so it's clear whoever did it knew they were making stuff up. Authors are senior German researchers.
