About an hour ago the neighbour brought green beans, tomatoes and rhubarb overflow from his garden. Five minutes ago my friend dropped off a huge container of freshly picked blueberries. I am feeling blessed and grateful 😋 😊

Canada went metric in 1975. There is a large number of us who can either measure in both metric and imperial or who can’t measure well in either, if at all. I still use imperial, it irritates everyone around me but it is instinct. My fellow 🇨🇦, any of you still stuck in imperial?

I worked with a man in jail who had been convicted of sexually abusing 27 children, along with a dozen robberies. He told me he committed robberies to keep himself in jail and away from kids. I am told this kind of thing happens frequently. So I say rehabilitation isn’t likely.

Neighbours had a minor emergency and asked me to watch their 3yo granddaughter for a few minutes. She had to poop and told me her grandma sings to her so she can go. I went blank and all I could remember was Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics. I did all the vocals, she pooped 😂
