Does this care in 2 degree weather not deserve to be reimbursed? Should record profit insurers be allowed to stiff labs, nurses and doctors & get away with it Scot-Free? We’ll see
@EdGainesIII
@wendellpotter
@mass_marion
We’ll see….
Ok, now I’m sounding the alarm, we have a series of no less than 15, that’s right 15 confirmed fever cases that have tested COMPLETELY NEGATIVE ON OUT
@QIAGEN
QIASTAT RPP machine which can run >47 CT.
@alexmeshkin
are you seeing this?? Anyone
@CDCDirector
???
@laurieallee
Ok, so I was asked by one of my licensing states. “Why are you testing all this blood work AFTER COVID.” They literally had no clue. It’s not just the press. It’s the leaders at these orgs. Something has to give.
@farid__jalali
This indicates I had a stroke at 45 years old, after COVID. Likely due to COVID. In my clinical experience with COVID &

question. After I had my $JNJ vaccination I developed skin changes then blistering. I discovered the MDA5 Ab in me. Now a patient shows up, 1 month post COVID. With THE SAME BLISTERS and complaint. Is anyone else seeing anything like this?
Ok, I have a bad case of COVID. I’ve had flu. This isn’t flu. Further, my blood literally burns when it left my vein. That has never happened before. My CT yesterday was 29. What do you think my D Dimer will be today? My Ferritin?
@813JAFERD
@bobjherman
I wonder if Doc Lizzie ever appealed a denial. It takes days to weeks, sometimes months Elizabeth. C’mon now. I am in one appeal with Anthem/Elevance that is now running on 300 days.
@alexmeshkin
Ok,
@alexmeshkin
I don’t have a small sample size. I’ve been testing this since April 2020. Nearly, nearly 100% of people I have a pre & post on have significant drops. Including several pro athletes. This is not uncommon. There will be an epidemic of hypogonadism. Politics aside
@sgremminger
Why would they get behind? If you can’t answer why, seek to understand. Lesson one, prior authorization calls. Don’t want to wait? Then pay the bill, don’t use insurance.
@gbosslet
@acweyand
@indystar
This is politics in medicine. This is due to political licensing boards. It’s our fault for allowing medical boards to be used as a livelihood ending weapon.
@alexmeshkin
@QIAGEN
@CDCDirector
That’s awesome! The more the better. It really helps! We are getting spooked of another unidentified virus here. Call it PTSD from my early days!
@sgremminger
Name an administrative task equivalent to prior authorization of a medical service, medical imaging or medicine. That holds up direct patient care.
So insurers won’t share their denial rates because they are “trade secrets” what if we all crowd sourced and shared our denial rates with each insurer. Think of it like
@Glassdoor
for patients and physicians. Thoughts? Here I’ll start.
@Aetna
likes to play a game with a code…
@drdavidsamadi
If your diagnosis and treatment doesn’t work out long term, do you keep doing the same thing over and over again David? Or do you change technologies or medications or maybe even diagnosis….It’s madness we are witnessing. Change the damn tech at least.

I’ve spent nine months trying to get paid by the federal government for federally mandated coverage for Covid tests we did. I’m at level three waiting for a decision. There are two more levels before I can sue the federal government. That will likely run out of the statute of…
@anish_koka
It’s not the white coat. It’s the politicians, lawyers and sociologists that force doctors to do things for fear of their licenses being revoked. We can’t allow this as a society. We have to be free to practice as we see in best interest for our patients.
@AmyWatton5
@QIAGEN
@alexmeshkin
@CDCDirector
But very few get fevers and don’t have an etiology when worked up. Even fewer have an infectious disease like spread pattern. The unexamined life is a dangerous one I’m afraid. Unless you are prepared for that danger, it is better premeditatio malorum
@AmyWatton5
Ok here’s the story: dbl vaxxed kid gets COVID 18 December, three neg ags 23,24,25, aymptomatic stays with family. Now yesterday “same symptoms” as first time.

I present a case of UNDER 30 DAY REINFECTION. I’m going now to swab for CT. Guess the CT!

I love

and his book about the believing brain is a must read. This is the problem with “wanting” something to work for the suffering patient. Not all meds benefit all people.
@SalvMattera
Sal, this is a cardio centric work up. Most of the cardiac symptoms can be due to more molecular and systemic causes. I am for doing all of those tests. But in the end are our

Worst case, 1 day old in nursery. Mother suffocated by falling asleep on the nursing infant. Not just CPR, full coded. Lost the baby. I was never the same. I hope Mom has healed and well.

He said “it was only a little money” DOCTORS have to report if a Pharma company bought them a sandwich. Shouldn’t we ask the same of the NIH?
@drdavidsamadi
I don’t think world leaders handled anything. They rode the tiger, we’re not off it yet David. This virus has caused economic and societal damage that will transform us all. Why?
@AngelaReiersen
First, I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. Get better soon! Second, We saw this (shingles) starting with the first infection clinically. It was the first suggestion that maybe SARS COV2 may create immunosuppression. But the EBM purists, didn’t want to believe “anecdotal”…
45 mins on the phone with
@AnthemBCBS
who is denying a covid test payment because it had an “invalid order” Me: Umm hi I ordered the test, it was done. Pay the test. Them: “sorry sir, I can’t make that decision. Only the reviewer can reconsider.” Me: Id like to speak with them.

Short story. Kid one school “masks are optional” spreading like wildfire. School two “Masks are optional” Two schools, two kids. Both positive. Thanks
@GovNedLamont
we need to wake up guys. This wave is upon us.
@michaelmina_lab
110% agree
@michaelmina_lab
we’ve had multiple antigen tests not detect small amounts of antigen because it’s down lower first now. We also have had many PCR negative symptomatic patients pop positive on day 3-5 of s/s. If you feel sick, STAY THE HECK HOME!

Ok so a little story. My mother died over Easter, I flew to FL, ate outside despite my father’s protests (he was worried about demented drivers hitting our table outside) my mom died from sudden PE. Huge exposures and familial risks for clots. So, I come back and
@jasondeandc
I disagree. Pediatricians serve valuable vulnerable humans. I’ve seen it. But what it’s become in the face of insurers determining care is very sad.
@PressSec
Wait a second? You were positive in November too? Don’t forget to check for diabetes in a few months. Also consider blood work to make sure you don’t have any blood clots or other adverse events related to this horrible pandemic.

3 weeks post COVID, I have now developed substernal chest pain, center chest. No way you can convince me this wasn’t created. I’m disappointed in governments and society. This is remarkable and I’m so sorry for all those affected by Spike/SARS COV2
I’m here to say it now. If you have had Pfizer/Moderna & have following symptoms: Chest tightness, palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pain. SEE YOUR DOC. If they blow it of see us
