a few years ago -- before emerald fennell even announced she was adapting WUTHERING HEIGHTS -- I wrote about how much I personally vibed with andrea arnold's 2011 adaptation, and how clear it was that fennell was mimicking elements of it in SALTBURN. anyway you should watch
