A point I had not considered! Same applies across to horror, too, now that I’m thinking about it. Blumhouse has really leaned into the scary movie you also laugh through as their brand in this same period of time and well, Scott is making sense!.
It wasn’t social media. Every other type of franchise film began aggressively offering comedy as an added value element. When you get your theatrical laughs at (offhand) Thor Ragnarok, Hobbs & Shaw, Sing 2, Scream VI and/or Minecraft, there’s less need for “just a comedy.”.

A restaurant is not your house. If you want something very specific make it yourself. If you don’t like menu options don’t make a server’s day worse. You can go to Father’s Office in LA and they won’t accommodate a single request to change their burger. It’s just the rules.

This server is correct and if you don’t like the food on a menu pick different restaurant. That’s it. I mean maybe he just did this for engagement but he asked for Carbonara without bacon and that’s literally not even carbonara anymore so this is just someone being annoying.
