It will be interesting to see if any municipality in Ottawa County changes its setbacks and minimum lot and footprint sizes, in response to the county’s pilot project that offers anyone a free small footprint home design. And then see if any developer can turn a profit….
@downi75 Right, but that's because starter homes are often illegal or impossible to build nowadays. Illegal, because many cities have minimum home and lot sizes. Impossible, because it's $150K in regulatory costs before you can even start building (so why build a $200K home?)

If you are vaccinated, you probably don’t have to do this (wear a mask in areas where measles is rampant). However, for older folks like me (born 1959) who don’t know which measles vaccine they received as a child, a booster is not a bad idea.
The measles virus can stay suspended in the air for HOURS after an infected person has coughed, sneezed, or even just breathed in the area. Wear an N95 mask, y’all. They’re not 100% guaranteed to protect you but they sure do help.

last year Geico raised my insurance premiums by almost $2k. so i switched to Progressive and got rates even lower than the original. now Progressive raised my premiums by over $2k. so i called Geico and did the same thing in reverse 🤷♂️ the fact they make you do this is absurd.
