I’m 31.
6 years ago, I was miserable.
Then I found Jordan Peterson and he changed my life.
Here are 10 of his most powerful teachings (that can change your life too):
@AdamMGrant
A tip to realize if its a transactional or meaningful relationship:
During conversations, pay attention to how much they focus on their needs vs a genuine back-forth.
Dan Koe makes $4M+ per year as a solopreneur.
Dickie Bush grew to 350k+ followers in 3 years.
Here are 10 powerful takeaways from their 3 hr podcast (in less than 3 min):
“That which you most need to find will be found where you least wish to look."
To become who you wish to become, you must confront what most scares you. Confront the parts of you that you have been avoiding.
You don’t get the gold without fighting the dragon within you.
“You’re not everything you could be, and you know it.”
You know you can do more to improve yourself and the world.
So stop wasting time and get after it.
“The more you think about yourself the more unhappy you are”
Only thinking about how you don’t ‘measure’ up or ‘how you need to improve’ will only perpetuate the negative perspective of yourself.
Tyler Durden was a role model for me.
Smart, confident, ripped…why wouldn’t he be?
I recently re-watched 𝑭𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 after 10+ years.
Here are 4 profound life lessons I realized (especially for men):
Friedrich Nietzsche
- Creator of psychology
- Bad boy of philosophy
- Winner of “Best Mustache” award
Here are 7 of his most powerful lessons I live by daily:
You don’t discover the person you should spend the rest of your life with, you decide it.
Instead, ensure they are:
• Similar in personality
• Sexually attractive to you
• 100% Trustworthy
Love is a choice that you make every day.
“These little things that are right in front of us, they aren’t so little…”
Focus on doing the little mundane things well.
The little things add up to huge parts of your life.
“There’s no reason to be so goddamn hopeless except that it’s easier to be useless”
If you think there's nothing good in this world, or that nothing matters, then you haven’t engaged enough with the world.
Better to engage with the world and see what happens.
A New Creator's Daily Affirmation To Stay Motivated
I've never been this motivated to pursue a goal, but there are many days I struggle. I wrote this daily affirmation to help myself stay motivated.
I've decided to share it though in case it helps anyone else.

I'm convinced social media is the cause of alot of supposed ADD.
Maybe just the internet in general.
Too many choices. Too any opportunities for dopamine hits
Humans ingest 5 grams of microplastic every week.
The weight of a credit card.
Here’s a breakdown of how microplastics affect you (and how to avoid them):

Doing pullups for 10+ years.
Recently changed my grip as mentioned to keep the knuckles more over the bar, instead of behind it.
Complete game-changer in power.

"The danger is greatest when the finish line is in sight. At this point, Resistance knows we're about to beat it. It hits the panic button. It marshals one last assault and slams us with everything it's got."

I'm 31.
Stress and anxiety controlled me for years.
Until I discovered Meditation.
Here are 3 reasons why meditation will change your life (backed by science):
“Pursue what is meaningful (not what is expedient).”
Follow your curiosity and intuition to find what is meaningful to you.
And when choosing between two paths, the harder way is always better.
You’re not in control.
Your subconscious is.
I’ve spent 7 years studying how the subconscious controls our lives.
Here’s how to make it work for you instead (in 5 easy steps):
This story hits hard…
The battle we fight every day:
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.
“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed,
Are You Struggling? Does Your Life Feel Like Hell?
Good...Keep Going.
6 years I didn't care if I died.
Mentally I was in a bad place.
I was staring at the empty abyss of adulthood after my Master's thinking:
"Wow, so this is adult life. This is what we as kids wanted so
"You should be a monster, an absolute monster, and then you should learn how to control it."
Most men nowadays are taught that being ‘nice’ and ‘kind’ is virtuous.
No, you should have the capability for destruction, but the ability to use it only when needed.
Be careful with giving advice.
You don't actually know what's best for that person.
Instead, ask questions.
They'll end up finding the answer on their own.
I’ve loved learning about Space since I was a kid.
Yesterday, I saw the Solar Eclipse at 100% Totality.
It's one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
In honor of the eclipse, here are 5 of my favorite mind-blowing facts about space:
I used to take 2 hours to fall asleep.
Now I take 5 min.
How?
- Cut screen time
- Journal to clear my mind
- No caffeine 8 hours before bed.
Better sleep begins before you hit the sheets.
How anyone "ordinary" can become "extraordinary".
The video below shows Richard Feynman:
A Nobel laureate in Physics and also a master of simplifying complex topics.
But he was an ordinary man. His IQ was 125 (far from "genius level")
So what set him apart?
@iamkimianora
never heard of this but it makes alot of sense.
Seems this can apply in many areas of life.
anytime you put something on a pedestal, you subconsciously put yourself into a scarcity mindset
This is Abraham Maslow.
The grandfather of positive psychology.
He taught us to view people positively - as wanting to grow, accept themselves, and reach their highest potential.
Here are 7 of his principles to live a fulfilling life:
@Theholisticpsyc
Completely agree
I find that walking side-by-side can shift the focus from confrontation to a shared experience trying to confront the problem not each other
Yesterday I went for a walk on a crowded path near a lake.
I wanted to sit down on a bench.
But all I could think about was what others would think about me:
"Why is this guy sitting on a bench just staring at the lake?"
"Why is he by himself?
"He's a loser"
"He's weird"
Under appreciated tip for goal setting:
Write down a future you want to avoid - a future if you failed to pursue your goals, a future if you let your bad habits get out of control
You need both a heaven to run towards and a hell to run away from
We’re at war.
It’s the most pernicious war we will ever face.
It’s a never-ending war that started the day we were born and won’t end until we die.
This war is against the most formidable enemy we have or will ever encounter.
The enemy knows everything about us.
The enemy

I've found that people (consciously or unconsciously) shit on your routine because its a mirror into how chaotic their life is.
And if you succeed with your routine, it reinforces the fact they have to change theirs.
Alex Hormozi is an overhyped meathead.
That’s what I used to think…then I started listening to him.
Here are 15 of his most brutal life lessons (that no one else talks about):
@milky_selena
100% agree.
This is a paraphrased story I read once:
A child was adopted from somewhere in Africa and lived in the UK.
He was unruly and couldn't pay any attention in school. Thus he was diagnosed with ADHD.
Later in life he moved back to Africa (a much poorer

This is exactly why I do Crossfit, meditate, and eat only whole foods
healthspan > lifespan

How To Be Miserable 101:
1) Use cheap dopamine to alter mood or perception
2) Envy
3) Resentment
4) Be unreliable
5) Learn everything only from your own experience
6) If you fall, stay down
7) Pity yourself
I've been writing online for 5 months.
I took a break last week to reset.
This whole time I've been chasing external metrics.
Chasing followers and engagement.

Benefits after quitting caffeine for 2 weeks:
• Easier to fall asleep
• Consistent energy all-day
• Significant drop in anxiety (at least an 80% drop)
I miss coffee but these results are too great
I watch Netflix.
I go out to dinners.
I drink and smoke with friends.
But I still work a 9-5, write for 2 hours, do CrossFit, and read 10 pages every day.
Don't let some random X account make you feel like you can't work AND enjoy life.
We live in a “self-doubt” crisis.
Everyone I talked to (including myself) suffers from this.
But where's the proof?
Where's the proof that you're not capable?
Where's the proof that you can't help people?
There is no proof.
