Imagine being bent over, plug still warm, caged and shaking, forced to count the notes you just handed to a Man who hasn’t even touched you. He smirks, pockets the cash, and leaves. You thank Him. You’re finally where you belong.

🧵In 1942 a Japanese cargo vessel The Lisbon Maru carrying over 1,800 British POWs was torpedoed off the Chinese coast by the US Navy, unaware it was carrying POWs.  Hundreds drowned.  More than 380 were saved from the sea by Chinese fishermen from the nearby Dongji islands.

Classroom management… There’s one word I often don’t hear used enough yet children need to hear it more so they know where they actually stand… It’s…. No

A Teacher should be able to ask a class to listen in a calm voice, once and the class should stop talking and listen. It's a very low bar.

Chick-fil-A is always a good reminder that you’re going to be just fine if you take a day off. Actually, you’ll be better for it.

Students cannot be allowed to act however they want in classrooms. There must be accountability for actions. We are not preparing students for the workforce if they are allowed to be disrespectful in classrooms. This is also true at home. Parents must be parents.

Dear parents, This year, like every year, we will do our best. We will care for and look after your child, help nurture them and teach them new things. Sometimes, we might get it wrong. We won’t mean to. That doesn’t make us bad people, it makes us human. Yours, School staff
