An important new development at NCISH. We are resuming detailed data collection into patient homicide. This programme will expand on the national homicide inquiry that ended in 2018. We plan to explore new questions, additional methodologies & work closely with affected families.

When you were doing an undergrad, you wanted to do a masters. When you did a masters, you wanted to do a PhD. Now you’re doing a PhD, you want to be a cat.

I think the frustration is borne of a longing for continuity of care and a genuine relationship with clinicians. But all the studies show that informational continuity is a very poor substitute for relational continuity. I will be continuing to ask pts about what's going on.
