I don’t understand why in 2023, it’s hard for people to say “we messed up, but decided to do what’s right and fix it” rather than going “no, we always said that. You just didn’t understand.”
From the Big 12 on the tiebreaker rule clarification: “If all the tied teams are not common opponents, the tied team that defeated each of the other tied teams earns the Championship berth.”

The Cat 5/Cat 4 thing reminds me of severe weather season, when there’s a 15% sig tornado outlook, and you get 1 significant tornado, and a few other non sig ones, and people go “BUST!” on that forecast.
