Thank you UCA for giving me the opportunity to live out my dream of playing Division I baseball. I’m truly grateful for my time here. After careful consideration and prayer, I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal and will be officially in on June 2nd. Thank you, UCA.

Spend less time worrying about rat racing, do right by people, and good things happen to everyone. The baseball industry spends too much time worrying about competition and not enough trying to actually do right by people. I’m trying hard to do my part to inspire change.

A word that changed everything for me? "Muditā" It means finding joy in others' success. Celebrating when your teammates, friends, and family win as if their victory is your own. In 48 years of baseball, I've learned that the most successful teams aren't just talented.

The Chicago Cubs are hiring Tyler Zombro as a special assistant, sources tell ESPN. Zombro, 30, has become one of baseball’s preeminent pitching trainers at Tread Athletics, and he’ll work in all areas of Chicago’s organization to help improve the performance of the Cubs’ arms.

What actually is "hip-to-shoulder separation?" Doubling down on pseudo-definitive principles without an understanding of what’s objectively happening with movement is a sure fire way to get yourself in trouble.

Continually having the center of mass moving in the negative vertical direction is NOT an energy leak, especially if you have some weaknesses yielding in the first place. Social media has convinced a lot of people otherwise unfortunately

In contrast, those with a propulsion bias (Brash as my example) tend to continue moving downward for longer or decelerate more gradually, usually retaining some downward velocity.

There’s not really “individualized training” Just call it what it is “lowest hanging fruit training” Do you need to get stronger? (most likely yes) What about more powerful? Faster? More mobile? You don’t need fancy stuff You just need to squat, hinge and rotate w/ INTENT

What can high speed footage of a 98mph fastball tell us? A lot. What do I want to use it to illustrate? The importance of segmental mobility of the spine (and globally) in order to throw the baseball hard. In physics, it's known as the compound pendulum effect

Yesterday marked my last @TreadHQ after an incredible 2 years. It’s tough to put into words what this company has done for both my playing and post-playing careers. I couldn’t have imagined a better place to fulfill my mission of positively impacting as many lives as possible.

This sequence from Jacob Misiorowski to Deyvison De Los Santos 🤮🤮 99 mph heater, 87 mph breaking ball. I feel like he’s handing me the baseball and I’m five rows behind home.
