Reminder that the bullet slider is easier to tunnel and can be thrown regardless of pronation and supination biases. Often the less sexy, harder thrown breaking ball is the one that creates deception. (Vid from @PitchingNinja ) .

In pitching development step 1 is admitting not every athlete needs saving. Over-coaching hurts way worse than under-coaching.

I see videos like this and remind myself that bucketing mechanics is one of the worst things to do to an athlete. Get the pelvis open and move with intent into a firm lead leg and good things happen. Year of the compensator.
