Since joining this space, I've seen the % of domestic abuse victims who are male (ONS) go from 30%, to 33%, to 39%, with the latest data now finding it to be 41%. As the lens used to capture data becomes higher resolution, it reveals a sharper truth; that no, it's not gendered.

New @ONS domestic abuse stats show 1.5m men were a victim of domestic abuse in 24/25 - including 1.2m million from a current or ex partner. Men make up two in five of all victims. Far too many men and women. Govt has pledged to halve the figures for men as well as women.
