This week, the UK signed the Convention for the Protection of the Profession of Lawyer, marking a significant milestone towards the government’s commitment to the rule of law, the protection of lawyers, and the UK’s standing as a leading legal services hub.
I’m delighted to join international partners in signing the @coe Convention strengthening protections for lawyers today. Lawyers play a crucial role in upholding the rule of law and securing access to justice for all - values which lie at the heart of democratic societies.
