Only G7 economy in recession in 2023
Second worst GDP growth in G7 compared to pre-COVID
Largest rise in debt/GDP ratio of major European economies
Only major Euro economy with GDP per head still below pre-COVID level - that's five years of economic stagnation
@misspaulalondon
What is this "rising crime" you talk of?
London's murder rate has fallen by half since 2005
Stabbings are at a lower rate than before Kahn was elected, but higher than the national average
London has one of the lowest levels of antisocial behaviour in the country
@kitmalthouse
Why hasn't this filtered down into real economic growth?
Second worst GDP growth in G7 compared to pre-COVID
Seven consecutive quarters of GDP per head decline
Worst performing GDP per head of major European economies
Largest rise in debt/GDP ratio of major European economies

You mean by getting real life experiences, living and studying with people of different cultures and religions, which make they realise that the artificial differences pushed by certain parts of the media are exactly that?
@brexitblog_info
Has it worked, do we have more accountability?
We still have a nominated House of Lords filled with cronies, family members and whoever Charlotte Owen is
We have an unelected PM and cabinet with unelected members
We seem to have less accountability than when we were in the EU
@john4brexit
It just shows what an epic failure Brexit is when its supporters have to lie about things. A memorandum of understanding is NOT a trade deal, it has no value and no legal standing.

Didn't the UK and USA overthrow the democratically elected leader of Iran and install our own proxy government who gave lucrative oil contracts to Western countries and ultimately led to the Islamic revolution?

Yep. Walking back a policy which you cannot deliver is better than outright lies.
Remember when the Tories promising to reduce migration to "tens of thousands"?
Then they delivered record levels of net migration (672,000 in the year to June 2023) three years in a row.

Italy has grown four times as much than the UK compared to pre-COVID (Q4 2019) levels, the Eurozone three times as much and France almost twice as much.
They have also done it without a huge increase in migration, which is the only thing keeping the UK economy growing at all.
Let's play a game called "Have they been in recession in 2023?"
EU - No
Eurozone - No
France - No
Germany - No
Italy - No
Brexit Britain - Yes

The UK was the fastest growing economy in the G7 between 2010 and the start of Covid - while we were in the EU.
The UK is the worst performing G7 economy compared to pre-Covid (Q4 2019) levels and the only one still smaller than before the pandemic.
Co-incidence?
Brexit has fundamentally broken the UK economy
We now have zero growth unless we import hundreds of thousands of migrants every year
UK GDP per head is now lower than in Q1 2018 - that's six years of economic stagnation

It is amazing how many people rally against "diversity officers" without actually knowing what they do.
The whole point of DEI is to make the NHS as inclusive as possible precisely because they need to employ so many people from abroad.
@dunstablian
The problem with referendums is that most people won't understand what they are voting for.
How many people have read the Supreme Court's ruling on Rwanda which specifically states that the ECHR was NOT a factor in their ruling.
Therefore what could we possibly gain by leaving?

This is completely false.
Simply look at the figures of excess deaths over 2020/21. Often there were thousands of excess deaths per week (above five year average) and very few weeks where excess deaths were minus and then only a few hundred.

@KEdge23
Last year the government borrowed £116 billion. This year they are on track to borrow more.
Therefore remember, any tax "cuts" will be funded by more borrowing and more long term debt interest costs diverting taxpayer's money away from productive public sector spending.
