This week in @JACCJournals we show that Lp(a) particles carry 5x more risk than non-Lp(a) apoB particles (e.g. LDL) In most untreated pts, the much higher concentration of LDL particles remains the 1* target, but benefit of Lp(a) lowering may be > 2nd/3rd add-on LDL therapies

In this study, NT-proBNP and hsTnT were associated with MACE in patients with T2D at high risk of atherosclerotic events, and in individuals with high levels of both biomarkers, dapagliflozin was associated with reduced MACE event rates.

Put together a quick demo nb on how to use the native categorical feature support in HistGradientBoostingClassifier, XGBoost, LightGBM, and CatBoost to finish up the gradient boosting lecture tomrw. Still really like the HistGradientBoostingClassifier :)

Operating on multiple columns in a row-wise manner is fairly straightforward in {dplyr} 📦. In this workflow, the {c_across} function allows you to use the tidy selection syntax to select columns to operate on 🔍 https://t.co/gmFEid0WDK
