Normally when we do medicine, especially medicine on kids, we evaluate outcomes. We gather data. We ask questions. We look at risk vs benefit. In the area of gender treatment questions are forbidden. This is seriously troubling.

This is my oldest daughter. I haven’t seen or spoken to her since June 10 2018. She’s growing through her young adulthood without her mom. I have no idea what she looks like, where she is, what she does. I don’t know the sound of her voice. I hope she’s ok.

I have talked to at least a thousand parents of ROGD kids over the last 5 years. Nearly all of the parents report their relationship with their kids deteriorating as soon as they trans announcement. We are very often accused of being abusive, as I have been accused. 1/11
