People wait for the system to change, instead of just jumping ship, burning the old ship and entering a new world. My best example is degree, being someone who dropped out of college at 18, it’s simple “companies that care about degree don’t matter”

Literally dating is the same framework Basically life isn't a popularity contest or a consensus game. You pick your own world.

Funny story: Jack was with Ben (Kneeovertoes guy) in Costa Rica when a guy came up to them and said “hi can I get a picture?” and asked if he could get a picture with Ben. He had no idea who Jack was. And what made the story even funnier was that a few weeks earlier Jack was

A scary amount of life comes down to saying statements like "There's no such thing as a smart (on health) 40 year old obese person" And realizing what's stopping you or everyone else from saying it out loud. A 20 year old being overweight can be outside their control, but you

2020 remote work wasn't real remote work. This is why your friends who work at Facebook are back in the office while my friends that work at Automattic are nearly a decade of travel Instead of fighting RTO you should've used the good times to quit your 'fake' remote job for a

One of my superpowers is listening to conversations where I understand only 20%. And always doing this. Upping the level so this is always the case. I highly recommend this, reduce your tolerance for how much % of a conversation has to be legible for you to listen to it

In November 2022 I was in Delhi. I bought my yoga mat and was doing yoga on the roof top of the hotel early with the sunrise. A random Indian in his 40s staying at the hotel passed me on the way to his room. He had the typical Indian body with a big tummy. He passed me and

Don't just imagine or larp about a pro natalistic, pro work to live world They have always existed, especially in Latam and the Balkans. It's more normal than you think; Eg. Bogota shuts down almost all the roads for cars every Sunday and only bicycles are allowed

Childhood Obesity in Vietnam jumped from 10% to 20% in 10 years. If you’re still stuck in the “OMG Asia made me lose weight” bubble, you really need to pump those numbers (your understanding of health) up. Your pov is relatively comparing 2 sinking ships.

You can notice the "not that bad" perspective a lot on the internet For example some will ticket the price of something like Disneyland and say "Adjust for inflation" (which they use cpi) the Disneyland ticket should be $xx but the cost is $xxx And then they'll do this 100x
