Get Them Out! 🚗🚙 The government owns 9,479 parking spaces, with 3,291 of these located in traffic-congested Dublin. Notably, all past (400 ex-TDs) and present members of Dáil Éireann receive a free parking space for life, yes for life. #Dublin #Ireland #ClimateActionNow

Great news that the Council is pushing ahead with the city centre transport plan! A relatively modest change is coming to the quays in 4 weeks time that will help reduce private cars cutting through the city centre. Listen back to my thoughts here on RTÉ:

Good news on the Dublin City Transport Plan, between 7am and 7pm just 2% of movements are by private car on that section of the quays. Plans to restrict traffic in Dublin city to go ahead https://t.co/LS42hYILHU via @rte

Delighted to get Cabinet approval for an important new law that will allow women who get seriously ill while on their maternity leave to suspend that leave for a full year.

Great to see a new record of nearly 300 million passengers travelled on Irish Rail, Bus Éireann or Dublin Bus services last year. It's clear that public transport services are improved, people will use them. Now to implement the DCC & GDA transport plans! https://t.co/6yk6WqX3Gk

Excellent discussion last night. @neasa_neasa clearly showing her depth of knowledge of party policy, workings of Government and vision for the future. All communicated in her usual clear manner. Neasa has my vote for Deputy Leader.

@EamonRyan is right to highlight this significant milestone on the road to decarbonising Ireland’s economy. It simply wouldn’t have happened without @greenparty_ie being in government…

As a country, Ireland reduced carbon emissions by 6.8% in 2023. Our emissions are the lowest they’ve been in 30 years. Impressive when you take into consideration our growing population and economy. Irish people do care about the climate. #KeepGoingGreen

In 2019, I met @neasa_neasa and @JanetPHorner for the first time at the barricades we placed outside Brown Thomas car park to make South William Street car-free for a day. Yesterday, we were among a large crowd led by an amazing group of activists from so many organisations.
