Eurovision’s voting “reform” from 20 to 10 votes changes nothing. Casual viewers still cast 1 vote while mobilised groups can cast 10, keeping the system unequal and easy to exploit. The core problem isn’t the number — it’s allowing multi-votes at all! #mad

This decision is appropriate in the circumstances. What stance did Irishman Noel Curran, DG of the EBU, take? https://t.co/UrJ8JyNbTV

It's 2025 and the Irish Times still thinks it's clever to refer to a street as ‘where the quiet money lives’. #Eugh

"As an example of Starmerese, there is no better: 'Our mission of national renewal, understanding our country for what it is, a society of reasonable, pragmatic, compassionate people who would help each other out if they had half the chance to do so'". https://t.co/u99zP77QCb

@RoryStewartUK said last week that he didn't care whether the Labour Party promoted growth or equality as long as it just got on with it. From someone with less aplomb that would pass for terminally discrediting unseriousness.
There's a key point in here about The Rest is Politics and Rory Stewart. He has a devoted following of centrist dads but there is nothing in his career - or his analysis and predictions on the podcast - that suggests he has the authority to be some sort of political sage.

Disingenuous non-story; mostly about 2017 non-Connolly visit. Again ignores fact Connolly is off the hook on Syria, as she told Dáil in 2017: "The most appalling war crimes were carried out by the Syrian government". Why won't the Irish Times report that? https://t.co/uu1IFA4iKo

@FredPLogue #HowIrelandWorks There are astounding individuals & groups challenging State decisions & succeeding. When @MichealMartinTD speaks platitudes about questionable personalities even in death, speaks loudly of State priorities. https://t.co/dlcQToayYN
