Interesting thought experiment. I’d argue misguided though. If you start performing the same experiment after 2015 you get very different results.
In fact, exact opposite has been true so far this year. If you try to go anywhere outside of the top 8, you’ve likely underperformed

I see. I interpreted the post as front running how much a Tesla battery will drain in -30 degree whether with Sentry mode on.
I grew up in the Midwest and understand the difficulties of any vehicle at temperatures like this

Fundamentally disagree. That’s all nonsense. You never saw Buffett & Munger debating strategy with Coca-Cola’s executive management team or other investors.
They bought an excellent business and let them execute. Read their 10-K and left it at that.

Many Nasdaq 100 names look like this if you zoom out to the entire trading history. Good chart don’t get me wrong, but money supply is a huge factor as to why you don’t see any of the crashes along the way.
