Brazenly and on camera, the

's kidnap orphans from the occupied territories of Ukraine and say that it is "for their good."
Just imagine if any other country occupied a part of Russia and took out children from there. What would be the reaction of Russia?
150 odd sailors just did a 200 day deterrent patrol in HMS Vengeance. This is how many MP’s could be bothered to turn up for the Defence debate today….
Remember at about the time this was going on a Royal Navy submarine Captain was stripped of his Command for allowing his crew a BBQ on the jetty at the end of an operational patrol.
@adnashmyash
@INTERPOL_HQ
you need to document this and see if you can ID these poor children from the footage for future reference. They need to be found and taken back home.

110mph in the dark, fog and rain. Approaching a station stop. I know it’s going to be slippery so before I reach my breaking point I hit the sanding button to help with braking.
The ‘laid back’ life of a £67k train driver – and how it compares to other jobs
The academic requirements are minimal and the perks generous, so why are they paid so much more than nurses, army officers and teachers? 1 of 2
@RMTunion
His salary is equivalent to that of an MP. He represents just over 80,000 members. Average constituency size in England is 73,000. But he doesn’t get a second home paid for or his energy bills as an expense.
🧵After being rescued by the USS Reuben James, the crew of the Red October we landed in the US. They were split up & debriefed by the CIA, before being flown back home a few at a time via the Soviet embassy in Washington.
A little mystery. HMS DEFIANCE was the Plymouth shore base for nuclear subs in 1980s. Why has a patrol report for 'OP IMPEACH' been generated for Nov 1984 for a dockyard facility, that remains classified to this day?
Royal Navy under this Government:
Ark Royal scrapped, NSW binned.
Ocean sold, no replacement.
Batch 3 22’s retired early.
Type 26’s slow to be ordered.
MCMV all but withdrawn.
RM numbers down.
No active LPD right now.
Astute program painstakingly slow.
Then there the RFA…..

A senior FSB officer on his way to Snake Island was killed. His attempt to get there indicates discipline and morale of the garrison might have become a problem. Eventually they may have just given up and made their own way off the island without being ordered.
Russia tried to make Snake Island and air defence and command and control platform following the sinking of the Moskva. But it’s an island, not a ship, and islands can’t move and that made it vulnerable.
So as you can see things are not quite as laid back as made out. The list of career limiting mistakes you can make is as long as your arm. You work alone, their is no First Officer in the cab. Safety systems yes, but trigger them and your job is on the line.
Govt Minister

confirms that on current plans, the last Type 45 Destroyer will retire from service by the end of 2038.
Less than 15 years left to design and build the complete replacement class of Type 83 destroyers /FADS.
In the end the Russians were overwhelmed and were defeated at Snake Island. They won’t have the same ability to strike it as Ukraine has, with Russian held land being far further away. Ukraine targeted Snake Island with Precision weapons. Russia is fast expending it’s own
NATO poured a huge amount of air assets into monitoring Russian activity in the area. AWACS, P8’s, EP-3E’s, Rivet Joint, Global Hawk, RQ-4D Phoenix, Fighters, Tankers.
Having been provided with long range weaponry Ukraine conducted a series of well planned attacks, degrading the islands ability to build an air picture. Radars and C&C vehicles were targeted along with logistical items.
@adnashmyash
The airfield is Shchyolkovo, near Moscow. Three aircraft registrations gleaned for the first 2 seconds of that video. Flight history looked for and building in background matched to Google earth.
The Vasily Bekh was sunk by Harpoon missiles and then nearby Russian flagged rigs also fell victim to Harpoon’s, albeit they were fired at something else, we still don’t know what.
What will Ukraine do with Snake Island now? If it could put anti ship missiles on the island it would extend there reach further into the Black Sea, denying more of it to the Russian Navy.
Although quite possible the initial attacks were beaten off it is possible as resupply became untenable, the islands defences were expended and it was no longer able to defend itself.

I’ve been pulling together for you as a key worker since March. Followed your rules on the promises you offered. Each time they have been broken. This isn’t working, we need a new plan.

I heard story about USAF KC-135 following a Lufthansa at Frankfurt. 135 trying to get the Lufthansa to come up on discreet freq. German’s replied they didn’t do unprofessional discreet chats. So the 135 skipper said ‘ok pro’s just to let you know your landing gear pins are in’

Absolute bollocks. HMS Richmond was deployed several weeks ago so that ships could be rotated. As per RN and MoD briefing Diamond is going off station to be re ammunition and routine maintenance.

as train/tube drivers we have enough to deal with without worrying if someone dressed as broccoli has got on the roof. Metal & flesh don’t mix. My train killed someone at 19mph. The railway is not a kindergarten.

? from the first 2 episode. That poor woman was accused of stealing £36k from the Post Office which she hadn’t. She made up the alleged short fall. Along with many others. So surely something in the Post Office’s own accounts didn’t up? Where did all the extra money go?
@RMTunion
If this legislation passes, next up they will take your sick pay away, then maternity leave, then paid holiday, then being in a trade Union will be made illegal. Then they will take your vote off you.

Please explain why the USN has 11 nuclear powered aircraft carriers? Explain why Russian is spending massive sums trying to keep its only carrier operational? Why China is building carriers? Why India is building carriers? Why Italy has one?

Your actions this morning caused a collision between two lorries in a rolling road block, which resulted in a Police Officer being injured. Perhaps you would be willing to go and talk to that Officers family and take some responsibility for their injuries.

missing a trick with the LPD’s? The future of naval warfare looks like autonomous & unmanned vehicles. With their large well decks, vehicle decks, & C3 facilities surely they would make the perfect motherships?
Ramius and his officers were flown to the UK and housed in HMS Defiance, Devonport, where they were taught English. In order to ease their integration into western society it was thought Plymouth was the closest resemblance to Murmansk of any NATO submarine facility.

I did this thing called ‘listening’. People should do it more.
Missing the peace of fishing, Marko Ramius became a Trawlerman in Scotland. He passed NATO intelligence on Soviet/Russian submarine activity for many years. He passed away in 2020.

Ukraine’s determined defence of Bakhmut might possibly have been designed to attrit high casualties on Wagner, which as played a significant role in Russia’s offensive there. Wagner’s high casualty rate has driven a wedge between Putin and head of Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

Why has Brexit been such a mess? Why has the COVID response been such a mess? Because to many MP’s and Ministers haven’t been doing their primary job. They have been to busy with second jobs to do what they have been elected for.

I did 7 years in the Royal Navy.The one on the right is for ops off the former Yugoslavia in the 90’s. That’s part of Europe. Poppy’s are to remember those that fell in the two world wars and all the conflicts that followed. I voted for Brexit. How dare he!

The coal fired power station at Ratcliff near Nottingham has been active pretty much everyday since COP26. Why? Because since then the UK has had generally light winds and overcast. Useless for wind turbines and solar.
Boarding team are total amateurs. Look at them pointing their weapons at each other! How are those individuals covering the guy in front? One of them bangs the end of his rifle barrel on the Bridge window as he goes bye it! 🤦♂️
The train is no longer slipping. Result. But would you believe it the Rail Head Treatment Train passes the other way jet washing the rails, which can make you guessed it, the rails slippery! Sure enough we are sliding again!
