Disgusted by some people commenting on the Army Cadets parading in London. Those people volunteer their time to support children often from poor upbringings and use the military values and standards model to show them some better bits of life. I was an Army Cadet from a young.

At the age of 44 I considered joining the reserves, stopped when I realised high blood pressure (medicated) would count me out. I had lots to offer, ex submariner, 20 odd year in the police. Until MOD increases its risk parameters Recruitment will be a problem.
Speaking at RUSI @VAdmAndrewBurns says recruitment and retention of people is still RN's greatest challenge. Service needs to change its culture and workforce blend, which in future may include more people not in uniform .

Honestly what is wrong with our government!.On the one hand Starmer is not increasing defence spending until April 2027 (it's not even certain it will be a £ increase).But on the other hand we're being told to prepare for war on British soil!.We've had 3 years of watching a war.
