Folks, we cracked twenty thousand and then some. Thank you to everyone who took time out to listen to our ramblings. It’s been hard work but hopefully you’ve learned stuff and had a few laughs. More great content coming this autumn! https://t.co/pDmoCp6LMX

In case you don’t have enough to worry about. Bit more challenging than three Venezuelans and (supposedly) two keys of Columbian marching powder in there😉
You mean to tell me that we fired on aliens and our missile was ineffective on the unknown craft and it kept flying after being hit. Well, we better start pouring a couple trillion dollars to the space force and building the United Earth Defense Fleet

Understand warfare? Understand your enemy. They you’ll beat them. On September 10th 2001, many Americans would have shared this disdain for people in the region. Calling them names doesn’t win battles. Failing to understand the region doesn’t win wars.
Let's see what Qatar is going to do about Israel's attack: strongly condemn... begin addressing... contain repercussions... Yea, you can't do shit. Buying planes and boats doesn't make you strong. It makes us rich. Thanks, btw. How about you begin learning some doctrine? Learn

I think the current US administration just got a lesson in the enemy of my enemy… When there’s no adults in the room, things like ME politics are very hard to understand.

If ever there was a time for a TLAM distraction against a third rate military, now is probably it tbh🤦♂️ Bread and circuses.
WSJ: Lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein’s estate have given Congress a copy of the birthday book put together for the financier’s 50th birthday, which includes a letter with Trump’s signature that he has said doesn’t exist.

You have an ops room and a bridge radar display for a reason, though interestingly I couldn’t find much on the plot/bridge liaison, which would be absolutely key. The job of the SPS is to stop the OOW hitting things after all.

It would help as well if the author had read the BOI about the loss of the Norwegian frigate. Exhaustion wasn’t a factor.

Learning the lessons – the loss of the Norwegian frigate Helge Ingstad - Navy Lookout Really interesting analysis but some something really stands out from the BOI that will ring true for the upcoming Coventry episode.FOST and damage control training.

In 2021 the Accident Investigation Board - Norway (AIBN) published a detailed report covering the loss of HNoMS Helge Ingstad after she collided with an oil tanker in November 2018. There is much to...

It really doesn’t work like that in all fairness. Mistakes can happen at the start and throughout a deployment. In fact a warship should be at the peak of efficiency towards the end of a long trip.
Homeward bound. The last leg can be the most dangerous as crews anticipate leave and lose theri edge. Last time we lost a F-35 and Norway also lost a Helge Ingstad - both due to a drop in vigilence on the way back from a major exercise.

Here we likely have the first Zapad NOTAM/PRIP for the Barents Sea. Prob SS-C-5 from the coastal missile detachment at Franz Josefs Land.

Personally as a full screw or stripey, I’d have gone to the wall to protect one of mine suffering this, and if it meant a career hard stop, then them is the perks. Better to go outside integrity intact than be bouncing along complicity in a crime.

Depressing and a reminder of the importance of morals and principles when you gain rank. They are YOUR people and you owe them your best in pastoral care. Everyone who failed this soldier in the CoC should be rifted and careers ended.

Doubtless conducting ADEX serials with the carrier group. I hope it’s easier to establish L16 these days than back in the 1990’s on L11😂 “Good ping pong no data” @IntercityFC

Really recommend following Latin. IF this goes kinetic, there’s going to be a lot of disinformation/misinformation initially from the usual “hot take” crowd. Get ahead of the game and give him a follow!
The C-130's are operated by Escuadrón 61 and the operational readiness of the unit is an open question - six aircraft of 8 delivered were to have gone through a modernization in the late 90's but only 3 completed this as US sanctions kicked in. 2/
