Cool news about #RxivMaker. Lots of new features ๐. An rxiv-markdown manuscript can have embedded code that helps keep your data updated (e.g. inserting number of samples by reading data like .xls). Both #RxivMaker and #mAIcrobe preprints written with it https://t.co/Ew8zu9A2OC

In the final 2025 Sophia Lecture Dr Bret Weinstein @BretWeinstein explores the deep interplay of genes, culture and consciousness in shaping humanityโs path: consciousness, he argues, is an evolutionary tool for novelty, enabling us to build civilizations that outlive each of us.

And as promised here is the last piece (for now) of our journey in integrating the cell cycle with other phenotypic measurements - tnx to post-doc @JuliusZmmrmnn at @LabPhysiology @unipv
Another part of our work on the FUCCI sensor is out on BioRxiv: a deep-learning workflow for our multiplexed CALIPERS technology. We use custom-trained networks to segment and classify nuclei. We track the nuclei through the cell cycle and assign a cell cycle percentage.

I am thrilled to be featured in theย โFirst Personsโ through the decades article in Journal of Cell Science.. It is honoring for me to appear on the same page as David Stephens, an outstanding scientist, leader, and mentor in the cilia field, who sadly passed away in 2024.
Our โFirst Personโ series was launched in 2017 to highlight the first authors of our Research Articles. In this โFirst Persons through the decadesโ article, Amelia Glazier highlights some notable scientists who have published first-author papers in JCS. https://t.co/Do18kMRqe7
