These in person conferences have major impact once you get back home. In my case I put my family at risk and all of us struggled for 2 weeks. Covid is still rampant and lot of them testing positive. Traveling to a conference is a personal choice but one has think of after effects

Unfortunately crypto is not FDIC insured yet and it’s always been like this. Not your keys not your money. I have lost a ton of money (FTX and Voyager scam). Better idea is to store your crypto in a wallet than keeping them in centralized exchanges. Exchanges can go bankrupt
