Typical England performance. Midfield is easily taken out. Defence was more stable when Bronze came on. The sight of Esme Morgan running through the midfield and Brazil just let her go - yikes. Forwards way too static.

Good to see this Found. But if there is one, you can bet that there's bound to be lots more.

I mean, you couldn't make it up. The amount of headlines and airtime that obesity gets as the worst ‘disaster’ ever for the history of the world. Yet when we have an opportunity to improve people's health through new pharmaceuticals what do we do? We ration.

The total number of people with #Obesity who qualify for #Mounjaro in the whole of @HIOW_ICS for 25/26 - as per guidance set by @NHSEngland is around 1000 The population in the whole ICS is around 2 million. Right. @DrSdeG @FionaQuigs @GoggleDocs @kamleshkhunti

Who is asking the Qs? Where is the NHSE director for obesity & what are they doing? It lacks leadership & steer. Because of HCP based stigma against people living with obesity.

Agree. Imagine you had a condition that followed your entire life, no matter you did to try resolve it. Everywhere you look for support, you get the door closed & you get blamed and shamed. For a condition that is largely a mix of environment, genetics and social circumstances.

Access to weight loss medications in #Obesity Prioritising those with higher BMI is right Adding in 4 morbidities is wrong Prevent the co-morbidities from happening That’s where the “savings” come from @DrSdeG @ShivaniM_KC #MondayMusings

So when it is said “we managed,” what they really mean is we coped with decline. Because you can still get into hospital - if you wait long enough on a list or A&E - but you lose everything else that makes a healthy life possible: prevention, dignity, independence.

lose mobility, then health, then work, and end up sicker and dependent. Life expectancy is slowing. Healthy years are shrinking. Every delay adds to the load. The worse our health gets, the more we rely on a system already on its knees. It’s a vicious circle. 3/4

Then somehow it “manages.” But what we call managing is actually tolerating decline. We spend more money than ever, but get poorer outcomes. The system hasn’t collapsed overnight - it’s dying by a thousand cuts. People in their 50s can’t get a hip or knee operation, 2/4

It's so infuriating listening to people talk about the health service in #NorthernIreland . As was discussed on #SundayPolitics - Every winter we’re told it’ll be the worst winter ever for the health service. We hear warnings of collapse, of danger, of not enough funding. 1/4

We worked hard tonight. Not a vintage performance. Spark of genius from Chloe Kelly. Building slowly. Hoping injuries aren't too major to Foxy & Steph.

No pace from Arsenal. No runs into the box from midfield. I don't understand the gameplan.

Arsenal are ruining Alessia Russo. She's the only one trying to get into the box. She's expected to run around, link play, track back - while also trying to make runs into the box. She has way too many roles.

It's #WorldMentalHealthDay - I'm thinking today of those people that find this day especially difficult. We need to keep fighting for better care and support. It's all very well saying. ‘It's OK to be not OK’, but when you have nowhere to go to be not OK... 1/2

Anyone watching House of Guinness? Two episodes in and I'm not sure what to make of it. The background music is weird and a bit annoying. From Irish Céilí music to Kneecap, it wasn't what I expected.
