Is it just me, or is it really surprising that RCP Council minutes (whether written, audio, or video) aren’t shared with members?. It feels pretty strange for an organisation that’s meant to represent us. I pay my membership fees and voted for the people on Council, so why isn’t.

I genuinely believe that AI is going to transform modern medicine. That being said, the evidence often cited for this is that AI can accurately predict the correct diagnosis from case reports published in journals. Anyone who’s ever written a case report knows how dumb this.

As some of you know, I look after many people with diabetes that have severe learning disability and are non-verbal. Today one proudly showed me a glucose trace 'in green' on their Libre app, then kissed the screen and then fist bumped me on the way out 😍. It's the most.

Thanks to annual leave, conferences and deadlines it’s been 25 days since my last training session 😞and although jet lag is killing me, I managed to get up in time for my 6am session this morning . and it was totally worth it 😍. You can give me my medal now 🥇
