2/3. The tier 1 Oliver McGowan training on learning disability and autism is for staff who require more general awareness and tier 2 is for people who may need to provide direct care and support for autistic people or people with a learning disability.

1/3. 81% of health and care staff in Hampshire and Isle of Wight have completed the Oliver McGowan e-learning module and 11% have attended an Oliver McGowan tier 1 webinar, helping ensure that people with a learning disability or autism receive the right care for them.

In 2019 OT leaders and apprenticeship teams came together to collaboratively commission the Occupational Therapy apprenticeship for Hampshire and Isle of Wight. This July we saw the first cohort of 17 Occupational Therapists graduate and start working across the system 🎉.
