Spotty sanctions against some Venezuelans began in 2015, after the economic crisis began. The timing, however, did not stop Chavistas from screaming ”imperialismo! The evil empire is the scapegoat to blame for all manner of ills. WATCH:

Not even half of the candidates bother to comply with Honduras's electoral finance law. The question is not whether there was widespread cheating—there was—but rather whether the cheating sufficiently tipped the scales towards @titoasfura. https://t.co/je6dRHBwIQ

The electoral law mandates candidates to disclose who funds them and how that money is spent. However, the practice remains elusive.

This is precisely the theme of No (2012), a dramatized film about Chile's referendum to move on from the Augusto Pinochet era (1973–1990). It is well worth a watch:

The documentary film, No (2012), captures this historic moment for Chile and Latin America through the eyes of the ā€œnoā€ campaign.

A lot of hate was directed towards the Albertan Independence movement this weekend. Don’t combat that hate with vitriol, but laughter and positivity. Highlight diversity that supports Independence! Women Indigenous Visible Minorities We are not a monolith. Positivity wins.

Most people in the Eurozone do not realize they have been turned into dependent serfs. This is rising in Ireland, tragically, and that is one reason why young people continue to leave.

Scarce and expensive housing is not a fatality; it is a policy to create a dependent class: āŒGovernments print currency by overspending and make deposits and wages worth less in real terms. āŒGovernments add limits to construction and hyperregulation, raise taxes, and make

Econ 43 (Introduction to Financial Decision-Making) is one of the most popular undergraduate courses at @Stanford . The popularity speaks of the need for personal financial education, including across generations, as we've found students bring knowledge back to their families.

The referendum campaign will open people's minds to realities such as the one noted below. Even with regime media and taxpayer-funded educators belittling the idea, I am confident Alberta independence will get majority support. https://t.co/85vskNLGI6

Modern Monetary Theory is not modern nor a theory. It is the same nonsense that every totalitarian empire has tried for centuries: believing that bureaucrats create wealth and they can issue all the currency they want. And always fail.
