Adult human brains have between 86-100 billion neurons and every single one is unique - like snowflakes! ❄ In this 3D rendering by our #ElectronMicroscopy team, we see 3 different shapes. Can you name all of them? #BrainAwarenessWeek

Cool study on TBI-induced remission of addition! I tried to get the lesion-tract mapping by setting lesion as ROI on the HCP1065 template and run fiber tracking. Results show TBI disrupted 1. uncinate (red) 2. IFOF (green) 3. ant thalamic rad (pink) 4. local U-fibers (blue)

Could having a TBI ever be paradoxically beneficial? We report a case of a patient with chronic refractory alcohol use disorder that went into remission following a TBI with focal OFC hemorrhage 1/2 @CommsMedicine @foxmdphd @JJoutsa @BenDavidson__ https://t.co/8BZMh9yOtM
