Then, we discuss the gatekeeping role of their oscillatory expression in neurogenesis, myogenesis and pancreas development. It ensures proper embryonic development by regulating proliferation-to-differentiation switch of stem cells and progenitor cells.

We first summarize our favorite topic, somitogenesis. Describing how the oscillatory expression of Hes/Her genes and their targets is utilized by cells to measure time. Thereby creating periodic pattern of somites in space.

We distributed prizes also. For most questions asked, a @TeamFoldscope was awarded. Some students who had to leave the discussion due to some reasons, came back with a pass to sit in the next lecture. Let me tell you that was the best feeling.

Thanks to @CassieMMcDaniel and Kyle McDaniel. They put lot of efforts to make this happen. We were initially concerned that my and @didarsaparow accent maybe an issue. Honestly, they made us so comfortable, I thought I was natural 😜.One student gave me this beautiful drawing.
