Never more than a bicycle ride away from being in a good mood. Cycling benefits everyone in a city, regardless of whether they ride. https://t.co/x4GjmjaQ8B

Weather is rarely an issue for those who wish to cycle to work it’s the lack of safe infrastructure that prevents many people from building exercise into their daily commute.
"The cold has returned to Paris & the bike lanes are still packed. It turns out the problem wasn’t the weather, as many said, but the lack of safe infrastructure." Drivers who claim “no one cycles in winter” are hot house flowers addicted to their little cocoons.

Great work by West Yorkshire Police and @DeputyMayorPCWY for embracing this revolution in British roads policing. Ultimately this saves lives and prevents serious injuries. Be part of the solution and get yourself a dash/cycle cam and start making a difference.

Royal Mail is replacing 52 vans with 104 Micro Electric Vehicles (MEVs) to save 242 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year. The MEVs will also improve air quality and road safety, and speed up deliveries. @RoyalMail already operates 7,000 EVs and plans to add 1,800 more in 2026! 😍

Not entirely sure what's gone on but seems to be a few stickers on cars parked in the cycle lane, didn't stop to investigate as someone was scraping one of as I past. The child in me got the better of me and I had a wee chuckle, perhaps not the best response but here we are.

Most NFA fail at the first hurdle of triage, for example the reg number is wrong or not visible. Many are wrong police area, which is a fault of the police reporting system which doesn’t highlight that when submitting. It’s way cheaper than patrol cars.

This is the way.
The Netherlands will invest €1 billion in cycling infrastructure to connect hundreds of thousands of new homes. This will build bike highways and improve bike-train intermodality, enabling residents to access jobs, healthcare, and school without locking them into car dependency.

Reporting motorists for close passing cyclists is not “wasting police time” it’s effective use of police time. Police officers can’t be everywhere but pedestrians, horse riders, cyclists & drivers with cameras can be anywhere.

This is why it’s illegal to use phones stationary in traffic or at the lights you should be paying attention when driving. This is why large SUVs and other large vehicles with poor forward visibility are not suitable for driving in towns and cities.
