“British people”. I used to think this bloke was worth reading.
Starting to realize that the reason things don't work in the UK is cultural. British people respond to reports of dysfunction by spinning fantasies, making excuses, and - most of all - by screeching insults and leveling accusations. No one actually *tries* to make anything work.

'Now that the year grows wearisome with age And days grow short and nights excessive long...' Tonight's the eve of Martinmas, a festival to cheer the lengthening winter nights. John Clare's 'St Martin's Eve' describes a village party, playing games and getting tipsy by the fire.

Answers the question of how the Army was going to approach AI. Trying to use 93 ARES to equip 4 battalions is a sign of desperation really.
🚨EXCLUSIVE🚨 Concerns have been raised over the use of the Ares variant of the Ajax armoured vehicle in the British Army’s 3rd Division. Insiders have claimed battalions are “pulling their hair out” over the plan. 🧵 1/4
