We turned a weeks worth of workouts into a website for @AltamontXCTF tonight. It was done in less than 4 minutes from joking about it to it being published. We took an entire YT channel worth of videos and made it into a coach bot too. Any questions we asked had sources, time
Here's the Big 3 excuses I hear from high school coaches as to why they don't learn AI. #1. "I don't have enough time." You could learn one thing about AI in 15 minutes that saves you hours of work a week. (Data entry, hundreds of texts and email reminders, paper work are all

"Great coaches can't be replaced by clankers." 100% agree. It's also a banger quote. But AI can help coaches be more aware. Data doesn't make decisions for you, it informs you of options. AI doesn't make decisions for you, it shows you options or reveals things you haven't

I mean, come on man. This EIU grad turned coach, turned good coach, turned very good coach, turned great coach, and now presenting? YES! Brenton Emanuel did an absolutely fantastic job at the Kankakee Preseason Coaches Clinic this past Saturday. I think he really laid out the

I ❤️ flying sprints, but the sprint-float-sprint blows them away when it comes to max velo development. In a 30-10-20-20 (Build/SFS), the athlete gets 50 m at 95% max V w/ the cost of 1 accel to top end. Hit 3 & that is 150 m @ 95% or better. Good luck getting there w/ flys.

From @CoachAlanMay (coaches 🏈 alongside @SHSCoachMueller at Stewartville... 28-game winning streak). Alan was responding to an inquiry about Feed the Cats *PE* at the elementary level. ⤵️ Try to do everything you do with your football team and determine what works best for

Call me old fashioned, but I don't believe AI is the future of coaching. This is a relationship-based profession, and an athlete's performance is often impacted more by the connection with their coach than by what the workout says. Great coaches can't be replaced by clankers.

The three responsibilities during practice for the Coach. 1. Create the Energy ( your job ) 2. Change the Energy ( and recognizing when it needs to change) 3. Get to the finish line of practice with a Collective Enthusiasm ( we got what needed to be accomplished done today )

When the season ends, we all dive straight into results. Splits. Races. Stats. Do it — it matters. But don’t stop there. Ask yourself the harder question: Would I have wanted to be coached by me this year? It cuts through everything — the excuses, the results, the noise.

Was really proud of Javonie Small this past weekend at the Preseason Coach's Clinic hosted in Kankakee this weekend. He was playing double duty as a dad and as a presenter. And he did both really stinking well! When Javonie was 'himself' he had the crowd laughing, engaged, and

Every coach feels the pull to “start planning next year.” But before I do, I run a 3-Column Review. KEEP / LOSE IT / EXPERIMENT 👉 KEEP what’s working — and sharpen it. That might be your midweek workout structure, your pre-meet routine, or a culture ritual that keeps your team

It’s audit season. @NDominator
Every coach loves to say, “Time to start planning for next year.” Slow down, Coach. First, finish this one. Do a debrief. Not a highlight reel. Not a pity party. Just an honest look back. Ask yourself: – What actually worked? – What would I change if I could? – What would I do

The warm up is a place where you prepare the mind and body for what is next. Use the same warm up every time. It helps reduce anxiety and lets your body know a physical demand is on the way.
