Getting faster in season with a team sport is possible if… 😴 You prioritize Rest and Recovery 💨 Sprint consistently ~2x per week We’ve done it 6 years in a row w/ @StewieFootball and the results speak for themselves in terms of performance! 💍x2 #SprintBasedFootball
This is not a criticism of the post or the research. But this shows why true track and field training or sprint/speed training can’t happen in team sport. If you can get your team to train physically on a different day, then that’s great. But at team practice true sprint
