Reading Peter Attila’s Outlive, and one thought I keep having is that anyone I’ve known that was 90+ has been miserable. (I know that the intent of the book is more about the quality as opposed to the quantity).

I’ve been remote training an athlete for the past 5 months. Pretty crazy to be able to have an impact on how an athlete feels physically when you are hundreds of miles away. Powerful systems!

Simple variation on a calf raise I learned from Chris Korfist. It has been a part of the pre-training menu for years. The eversion prior to pushing ramps up the difficulty quite a bit.

I deal with imposter syndrome on a regular basis. However, I’ve been on a couple consults lately where I’ve had a 3rd person perspective as it was going on - and the 3rd person was saying, “damn, you’ve come a long way.” . There are no substitutes for curiosity and time engaged.

Soreness certainly isn’t a necessary or desired result, so that’s great feedback, but the sneaky part here is that the volume of the program is significant.
