Please let you son know that his love of Maths will shine through at Secondary and the SATs will have no bearing on anything. They go on and on about your secondary school seeing the scores, the reality is they give them a look and then make their own assessments and judgements.

Definitely degree of trickiness/catching you out in some of the Maths questions last year. I don’t agree with them full stop. Secondary do their own assessments, so they serve very little value and completely destroy love of learning & create fear of exams /failure for Yr 6 kids.

Agree! For my teen with SEN this is a huge barrier to passing these exams. In no job do you have to remember 2 years worth of text in two hrs. Even in knowledge heavy careers like medicine they still use internet/books to check knowledge or look for something they don’t know 😡

Agreed. He is 13 years old and decided not to follow the rules, which are there to ensure the match runs smoothly, and was smirking as he did it, so also fully aware of the consequences of his actions. Many other boys would have given their right arm to be in his shoes that day.

Here’s hoping! Could have done with Norwich losing today, but it’s in our own hands. The results of the final 8 games were all over the place last season and we made it, aided by a goal scoring keeper and some battling to the very end. Anything is possible!

Change is never easy, it creates challenges for fans in different ways, but it’s possible to cover wider family scenarios. To go with ‘if child can’t go neither can the adult’ is too simplistic

I think the club should get a wider cross-section of supporters involved in scoping out ticket exchange scenarios & detailed FAQs ahead of launching the exchange. I did wonder how wide the stakeholder engagement was when the changes were posted given they had to pivot so quickly
