It's out, open access. TL;DR 4-6 year olds don't understand that reality stays the same when appearance changes (replication) but I didn't find an influence of teaching materials (in some cases, though, the teaching was up to a year previously). https://t.co/iccPxd6lcQ

‘What about the argument Helen that technically you’re 💯 pc right but a little unkind?’ asks Jeremy Vine about boys no longer being allowed in Girlguiding. ‘I am being kind to the 50 per cent of the population who is female’ replies @HJoyceGender 💥 THAT is how you do it.

Girl guiding has been built by innumerable girls and women over a century. The current trustees only hold it in trust for now. If any can’t accept the most basic principle on which it was built, because they have now embraced a conflicting new belief, it’s very much a them issue.

One thing I will say: BBC news balance & use of accurate language has improved since the row on its lack of impartiality on cultural issues blew up. Something the unreconstructed BBC-must-not-be-criticised gang really ought to reflect on.

A good day to dust this old thread off. Today, @Girlguiding was forced kicking and screaming to stop admitting boys who identify as girls. Safety, privacy and dignity for the actual girls wasn’t reason enough. The law forced their hand. Thank you @ForWomenScot !

1) Hundreds of parents signed our open letter asking @Girlguiding to review their policy that allows boys who identify as girls to sleep in tents with other girls without telling patents. Two guide leaders have now been thrown out and their units closed.

'He has a point, but he's too blunt.' From the start, a key tactic of the gender identitarians has been linguistic prescription, and it's proved shockingly successful. Trans activists' shibboleths and euphemisms have been allowed to penetrate the upper echelons of our culture

Interesting interview with @Glinner on @GBNEWS a few minutes ago about the trans debate. It's interesting how the tide is turning in his favour. I've seen old friends who shunned him admit he has a point but that he was too blunt. Even that would was unthinkable a few years ago

When I contacted @thecassreview @Hilary_Cass I was assured they were considering an appropriate response to this 'affirmation only' approach experienced in children's primary MH care. No progress has been made. A de facto ban on child-centred open-minded support. Shameful.
