📢 Arushi Nath, a high school student & MTSO member, delivered a moving deputation at Toronto’s Executive Committee. She spoke from experience about delays on the 511 Bathurst streetcar and called on the City to build RapidTO lanes on Dufferin & Bathurst: https://t.co/TYfvl9RN9y

#buslanes = 1000s of students can reach schools in time. 🚌 29/929 Dufferin Bus: • 40K+ riders/day • 48–74% on-time • Speed: 14 km/h • Commute 65% longer than driving 🚋 511 Bathurst StreetCar: • 15K+ riders/day • 72–83% on-time • Speed: 9 km/h • 82% longer #RapidTO #TTC
Arushi is in highschool and she and her friends rely on the Bathurst bus to get to school. She asks for support of these lanes so she can get to school on time and cut down on the stress of a delayed commute.
