CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen embarked on the Artemis II mission supported by his wife and their three children. Aboard the spacecraft, he will carry four moon-shaped pendants engraved with “Moon and back,” each featuring their birthstones.

The launch of Artemis II is currently targeted for no later than April 2026, and NASA is looking for ways to enable an earlier launch if possible, including potentially launching as soon as February 2026.
