TTCriders volunteers were chatting with riders about fare capping and petitioning this evening at Broadview Station! What we heard: riders aren't buying the monthly pass anymore, and they find that the expense of taking the TTC can really add up over the course of a month!

Everyone deserves to feel safe on the TTC. That means a care-based, non-enforcement approach to safety. That's why we're happy to see a plan to roll-out Toronto Community Crisis Workers on the subway! But it won't happen unless City Council approves it tomorrow. 1/2

Rayah Ladak is up next, and urges for this wayfinding strategy. She took her Grandmother on Line 2, and confused the Kennedy and Kipling trains because there was no westbound or eastbound signage. As a result, her 84-year old grandma had to climb back up the stairs - tiring!

GO JOE! Who outs himself as the architect of the TTCriders wayfinding action at King Station back in April. Joe has been co-leading the charge witn us for better signage, and honestly this strategy wouldn’t be happening without his work.
