The proudest moment of my life. First Exposure launches today. 4 years in the making. So incredibly proud of the entire team. “Ontario program to help expectant parents with advice on medication fills gap left by shuttered Motherisk lab” https://t.co/689BbDHwWd

The team plans for the First Exposure database to contain up to 500 prescription and over-the-counter medications. It will also include answers to questions about using alcohol, cannabis and non-pr...

In training before the various meningitis “vaccines” now available we did these at least once every single day while on call. With vaccines I can’t remember the last time I needed to do this.
Here’s what it looks like when we do spinal taps on babies. A vote for RFK Jr. is a vote for more of this.

Given Alberta's accelerating embrace of contrarian vaccine nonsense, let's highlight what body of evidence actually says about COVID vaccines: - Saved millions - < healthcare costs - < long COVID - > pregnancy outcomes - < risk of stroke - etc My take

Antivaccine beliefs reside most often on the political right. We must confront this reality and devise evidence-informed strategies to counter this trend.

Craig and I are both signatories on this letter. Taxing the wealthy such as us is not only the right thing to do, but it leads to better outcomes for everyone.
Extreme wealth threatens our democracy, our planet, and our society as we know it. Over 370 millionaires and billionaires have a message for the world leaders at Davos: draw the line and tax us, the super rich, to save the world. https://t.co/AoQ6JUQ8pm

The people who claim to be all MAHA & concerned about health & safety are apparently totally okay with the govt pausing all safety communications + advisories & halting all scientific research funding & reversing the reduction of cost of prescription meds? Make it make sense.

Is there a list of folks in medicine/public health on BlueSky? I finally switched over but am not following most of my trusted voices. Any easy way to do this?

Is the red dye ban a case of virtue signalling? https://t.co/bwUmx4SX7t by @SabiVM via @HealthyDebate “No subsequent data showed any correlation or relationships between Red 3 and cancer – or any kind of cancer for that matter.” “My recommendation? Focus on dietary things that

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s recent announcement that Red 3 will be banned will go down in history as the very definition of a red herring.

Is this truly a battle worth fighting? Wasteful depletion of time, energy and resources on issues that ultimately will have little to no impact on our overall health and well-being hardly seems efficient. My latest for @HealthyDebate

This norovirus seems to be different - potentially a new strain? The nausea seems to be lasting 2+ weeks, even in otherwise healthy adults, which is unusual. And leaving elderly more frail due to intense and unrelenting nausea + lack of appetite.

Small amounts of red dye 3 that one would ingest in a day is not harmful. DOSE MAKES THE POISON. I use turmeric to cook every day. High doses of turmeric supplements causes liver failure due to severe liver damage. Does that mean I should stop cooking with turmeric?!
