I tried Spotify for years, it’s fine I don’t take issue to it, I just think it’s a very different platform to Apple Music. Spotify feels like a streaming service, while Apple Music feels like a pay-monthly version of iTunes

Even a lot of the “made for spatial” mixes sound worse than the stereo mixes from my experience, especially smaller artists as their songs were often mixed into Atmos by their label rather than themselves or their producer to boost songs on Apple Musics algorithm

For movies and tv shows, it is absolutely excellent! For music, a lot of artists still only mix for stereo (usually bc Dolby kit is expensive), so the Spatial Audio mix is done by someone at their label. It isn’t a honest reproduction usually. That’s the objective side (1/2 🧵)

So my bike:
- has a little qr code on it that means it can be identified if stolen etc and I have a face
- I pay tax
- I have insurance for if my bike gets stolen or breaks or I crash into something
