While the Dems did almost exactly as well as Obama in the state, under the hood, the dynamics were much different. Dems like Marcy Kaptur, Tim Ryan, and Charlie Wilson, as well as Reps like Pat Tiberi, Steve LaTourette, and Mike Turner all overperformed their candidates.

The last time the Democrats won Ohio in the House was in 2008, when they won 10 House seats and 51% of the vote. The Dems flipped three seats, the 1st, 15th, and 16th districts.
