Interesting how @ChmnMendelson is very concerned about @councilofdc appropriating $400K but seems a little less austere when it comes to spending just shy of $4 billion on a football stadium. Fight for ol DC indeed!

I know we should be focused on the horrible, truly terrible bill but 1 thought on NYC: I think a lot of New Yorkers thought Mamdani could just freeze their rent--rent controlled or not--by executive order. I think a lot of voters will be surprised he cannot, even when he's mayor.

Supporting Eric Adams, @NYCMayor, would truly show that supposedly pragmatic Democrats learned nothing from Cuomo's run. He is corrupt. Jessica Tisch is logical person to run, despite being a rich lady. She took on rats and crime. That would be a good test for @ZohranKMamdani.

I know this well. "When I spoke to Mamdani. it became clear. there is another reason he chokes up: It’s hard to keep defending yourself against a false accusation. And as anyone who has ever been falsely accused knows, it hurts.

If Mamdani wins, it's due to a strong showing for @Bradlander. He deserves #1 votes, b/c he is not about rainbows and unicorns. He's about making NYC gov accountable to New Yorkers & work for New Yorkers. I'm still cool to @ZohranKMamdani's policies, but I wouldn't rank Cuomo.

Pretty amazing. Mamdani picks up most of his winning margin from @bradlander voters, I'm surprised that many Lander voters rank Cuomo at all. But a lesson for D.C.: It is crazy that it takes a week to tabulate RCV!! Seems like there can be better technology to calculate quicker.
